Have you ever found your inventory full with useless dungeon gear?
That one huge modded dungeon left you with a ton of random gear? Not an issue! Grab your trusty salvaging hammer and crack all of that armor into tiny pieces!
What does this add?
Salvaged adds a single new item into the game, the Salvaging Hammer.
It allows you to recycle items made of materials like iron, gold and diamond back into those same materials.

To use the hammer, simply hold the item you want to salvage in your off-hand and right click with the hammer in your main hand. Tadaah! You just turned that useless golden chestplate with unbreaking I and curse of binding into gold ingots!
LIST OF CURRENT SALVAGABLES

Why do you get that much stuff from salvaging?
The current way of recycling certain items in Minecraft invloves using a furnace to smelt iron and gold gear down into nuggets. Nobody ever does that because a couple nuggets are never worth it. With my mod this problem is solved and the former mentioned furnace recipes are still useful as they can be used in automatic farms. Whereas the right clicking salvage method added by the mod is way harder to automate because it requires manual player action. The mod is primarily aimed at heavily modded playthroughs with tons of new dungeons but you can do it however you like!
Future Updates
I plan to make other items like tools salvageable and add mod support for mods that add gear.
ENJOY!
