Hexdentity

Hexdentity is a Hex Casting addon focused on one question:

what does it mean to be yourself… when you can be anything?

This addon introduces a set of new Hexes that allow casters to manipulate, query, and assume identities through hexcasting. By interfacing with Hex Casting’s media system and identity mechanics, Hexdentity enables controlled shapeshifting into entities, as well as introspection into a caster’s current form.

Through careful experimentation, new techniques have been uncovered:

• Shapeshifter’s Gambit allows a caster to set the entity they will transform into, at the cost of a single Amethyst Shard.
• Shapeshifter’s Reflection reveals the entity the caster is currently shapeshifted as, consuming only a negligible amount of media.

Hexdentity integrates directly into the Hex Casting book, documenting its discoveries alongside existing interop content, and is designed to feel like a natural extension of Hex Casting’s spell language rather than a separate system.
