Discerning The Eldritch

Discerning The Eldritch is an addon for Iron's Spells and Spellbooks which aims to expand upon the Eldritch spell school by adding new spells, items, armor, and even mobs.

Currently, there are 15 new spells, one new spell school, 1 structure, 9 mobs , and 1 boss.

Current Spells:

Silence [Eldritch]: Prevents the target from casting spells

Esoteric Edge [Eldritch]: Unleashes a large slash attack, does additional damage if holding a weapon

Boogie Woogie [Evocation]: Switches places with yourself and the targetted entity

Guardian's Gaze [Evocation]: Similar to Ray of Frost, but inflicts Mining Fatigue on hit

Otherworldly Presence [Eldritch]: Teleport to a different location, giving the user a new effect that prevents them from being damaged and dealing any damage, as well as preventing the caster from casting spells

Abracadabra [Eldritch]: A buff spell that places a damage cap on the caster and prevents them from gaining negative potion effects (configurable)

Conjure: Forsaken Aid [Eldritch]: Summon different eldritch entities to your aid, including the Sightless Maw, Untold Behemoth and the Eldritch Apostle

Conjure: Gaoler [Eldritch]: Summon the legendary Gaoler, a sculk mob that targets any nearby entity, including the caster

Esoteric Strike [Eldritch]: Punch forwards, damage scales based on attack damage

Mend Flesh [Eldritch]: Heals the caster for a small amount of health, but applies lifesteal and healing on gaining XP orbs (configurable)

Rift Walker [Eldritch]: Teleport forwards, leaving an unstable rift at your start and end location which explodes after a few seconds.

Exorcism [Holy]: Cleanses the caster from any insanity stacks (IS ONLY ENABLED IF INSANITY IS ENABLED)

Crystalline Carver [Ice]: Slash a few times, inflicting Chilled and Frostbite stacks. On the final recast, deal a damaging strike which has bonus damage based on the amount of Frostbite and entity has

Glacial Cleave [Ice]: Create an icy slash which deals low damage but encases entities in an icy tomb

(NOTE: Items that are unobtainable now will be obtainable in the future. You can get these items from the Creative menu but cannot craft them in Survival yet)

The God Spear: A holy spear inscribed with Divine Smite 6

Greatsword of The Depths: A strange, crystaline greatsword inscribed with Planar Sight 4

Ice Spear: An icy spear inscribed with Glacial Cleave

The Snowgrave: A frozen halberd inscribed with Crystalline Carver and Ice Tomb

Forsaken Flamberge: An Eldritch Flamberge upgraded from a Decrepit Flamberge, an Echo Shard and an Eldritch Upgrade template

Ymir: An eldritch blade inscribed with Esoteric Edge 6 and Silence 6

Staff of Vehemence: An eldritch staff inscribed with Esoteric Edge 6 and Abracadabra 6

The Black Book: An eldritch spellbook inscribed with several Eldritch spells, dropped by The Ascended One

Staff of Ascension: An eldritch staff, dropped by The Ascended One

The Apocrypha: A power eldritch spellbook, boosting the wearer's eldritch power

Corrupted Cloth: Crafted with arcane cloth and an echo shard

Echo Vibration Ring: Crafted with a silver ring and echo shard, granting recasts for Boogie Woogie

Stormweaver's Spell Tome: A lightning school spellbook with affinities to Thunderstorm and Volt Strike

Frozen Folios [Unobtainable]: An ice school spellbook allowing the user to walk on powdered snow

Guardian's Guidebook [Unobtainable]: An evocation spellbook inscribed with Guardian's Gaze

Diary of Decay: A blood school spellbook with affinities for Blades of Rancor, Acupuncture, and Vein Ripper
