What does Craft More Chains do?

Craft More Chains increases the number of chains you get from the chain recipe. In vanilla Minecraft, you only get one chain for every 2 iron nuggets and 1 iron ingot, which doesn't seem fair. You now get 2 chains instead of 1.

Recipes

Note: The copper chain recipe is only available for Minecraft versions 1.21.9 and above, as it is not in the game in earlier versions.

I want more than 2 chains per craft.

By default, you get 2 chains, but this amount can easily be changed.

How to get more than 2 chains:

1. Download the mod or datapack for the version you want.
2. Extract the file.
3. Open data/minecraft/recipe/chain.json (In older versions it's data/minecraft/recipes/chain.json. If using 1.21.9 and above, then go to data/minecraft/recipe/ and inside this folder, edit both iron_chain.json and copper_chain.json)
4. Find "count": 1 and change the number to your desired amount. Save the file and close it.
5. Compress the contents of the folder into a zipped folder (compress the contents; don't move the folder into a zipped folder! You can check if you did it right by opening the zipped folder. If you see one folder only, you did it wrong)
6. You're done! Don't forget to rename the file extension to .jar instead of .zip if you downloaded the mod and not the datapack.

Why I made Craft More Chains?

Craft More Chains is designed for use with Craftable Chainmail Armor. It lets you craft chainmail armor using chains, making it more expensive than iron armor. With Craft More Chains, chainmail armor becomes less expensive than iron armor.
