Aeternum Seasons brings a cozy, Stardew-Valley-style year cycle to vanilla Minecraft – without killing your TPS.
Watch your world slowly change through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter: biome colors shift smoothly, snow covers the ground in winter, autumn forests turn golden, and the sky and weather follow the season – all fully optimized and spread over time to avoid lag spikes.
On top of the seasonal overworld, you can unlock two new adventure dimensions:
Frost Realm – accessed through a Glowstone portal. Blizzards, low visibility, frozen terrain and icy variants of vanilla mobs that slow and freeze you.
- Heat / Infernal Realm – accessed through a Nether Wart Block portal. Scorching heat, dangerous terrain, and fiery mob variants that burn and hit harder.
- Each realm has its own risks, atmosphere and progression, turning your survival world into a small adventure RPG while still feeling vanilla-friendly.
✨ Features
-
Dynamic, vanilla-style seasons: weather, sky and biome tints react to the current season.
-
Autumn forests: taiga and birch leaves turn into warm acacia-like colors only in autumn, then return to normal afterwards.
-
Highly optimized: biome and foliage changes are spread across the last days before each season, reducing heavy work on day 1 and keeping TPS stable.
-
Two optional season dimensions (Frost & Heat) with themed terrain and mob variants (frozen / blazing).
-
Fully configurable: enable/disable features, worlds, dimensions, migration, weather rules, etc.
-
Plug & Play for Paper / Spigot 1.21.x.
English & Spanish out of the box.
Optional integration with PlaceholderAPI for HUDs, scoreboards, menus and more. Aeternum Seasons is made to feel like something that could be in vanilla: simple to drop into a survival world, but deep enough to make every year in your world feel unique.
