SillyMC is a rebranding and content update that adds new weapons, a new cave biome with lots of content, a movement gadget, and more furniture.
Content
The Salty Caves
- The Salty Cave is a new cave biome that appears beneath large mountains.
- This new biome contains a large portion of the content added in this update.
- Salt can be found inside these caves and can be combined with copper to create Salar Ingots.
- Salar Ingots can be used to craft a brand-new tool set similar to diamond, but with faster mining efficiency, as well as a Salar Armor set with a set bonus that increases speed and damage when the wearer takes damage.
- Sodium Bombs can be crafted from materials found in the biome and detonate upon contact with water.
- Inside the Salty Caves, a new foe can be found: the Hot Rod Creeper, a faster variant of the Creeper with a more dangerous explosion, similar to that of a Sodium Bomb. These Creepers drop Nitrosalt.
- Nitrosalt can be used to craft the Nitro Pocket Watch, a new mobility gadget that allows the user to dash by pressing T (by default in the modpack).
- There is even more content in the Salinity mod that you are encouraged to discover by playing.
New Weapons
- This update expands the player’s arsenal with Scythes, Double Axes, and Claws, available in both diamond and netherite.
- Scythes deal one less damage than an axe but have increased range. They feature a reeling attack and a sweeping right-click ability.
- Double Axes also deal one less damage while offering increased range. Their advantage is the ability to store both sword and axe enchantments on a single tool.
- Claws deal damage comparable to knives but attack faster than swords. They can be used in the offhand and have an exclusive enchantment that allows the player to climb.
Building
- Added more blocks and furniture.
- Additional images are available on the official mod pages for Mede’s Decor and Valhelsia Furniture.
Misc
- Updated several mods.
- Potions are now stackable up to 16.
- You can now sit on stairs and slabs.
